Los Ranchos Mexican Restaurant

We absolutely love it here, I swear we are forever going to this restaurant to eat because it is so comfortable & clean, not only that all the waiters are very kind! Always great music playing! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Very welcoming when you walk in. You get to choose your seat. I like that it's not to crowded. Service was excellent. I got chicken tacos with rice and beans. The flavor was lacking a little but the texture was great the tortilla held up the salsa was good. The rice and beans were tasty.

Relatively new Mexican restaurant on Washington in south Holland - nice large capacity open seating area for dining and bar that seats about 10 people. Very friendly and attentive staff. Fast service as well - our work group of six people were in for lunch, and we were in and out in under an hour. Large menu with typical Mexican meal options (fajitas, burritos, tacos, etc.) with about 15 lower-priced and smaller portion lunch choices and lots of drink options. Food was great - had burrito with rice and beans, and the fajitas looked great as well. Fully recommended!

It was almost a perfect experience this first visit. 1. They allowed me to park my semi in their lot. 2. Immediately, it was a great service throughout my time there. They were Always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Extra napkins, refill on sala and chips, refill on my Coca-Cola , got me a straw, etc.. Later, a to go box and the bill. He told me to take my time. AKA, I wasn't rushed out the door like some places. Exceptional higher end modern decor both outside and inside the restaurant. Outstanding cleanliness. Staff has professional uniforms. Menu was well done with great pictures, and food was grouped by type and also included an express menu for lunch. Overall, it was a well thought-out menu layout. They had their own take on several traditional dishes where they added or switched up ingredients to give a different flavour profile. They allowed me to make a substitution and didn't charge me extra. I asked that they not give me any tortillas but instead add a couple of jalapenos to the plate instead. Portion size was great it allowed me to take some back to my truck, which will be my lunch tomorrow. Everything was cooked perfectly! No raw or burnt pieces. I would highly recommend anyone traveling through this area of Michigan give thus place a try!

UPDATE: We ate here again during this trip and it was just as great this time! Food was excellent! This place is great! We were tired and hungry and just wanted to get something quick. We were seated immediately and had drinks and chips right away! The food was really good and the service was fast and there was a lot of attention to detail. The fun side of it was when everyone started singing to the music. What a great relaxing, fun experience with great food!

This was highly recommended by someone who was doing some work on our house, and since I was going to be in Holland anyway, we decided to try it. All 4 in our group loved the food. It was delicious!! I ordered the Pollo Monterey: chicken breast with sauteed onions, peppers, and tomatoes and covered with a Monterey jack cheese sauce. It came with refried beans and rice, which were also fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
